Excellent meal at Bangkok Avenue. We were quickly seated for lunch on a Friday afternoon. My wife and I ordered a few lunch specials. The food was amazing, came out quickly, and the price for the lunch special was great. We finished with the mango sticky rice and that was spectacular too. Authentic Thai. We ordered the massaman curry and cashew nut (both with chicken) and shrimp pad Thai. All incredibly flavorful: massaman curry’s peanuts were roasted perfectly, a hearty meal ; cashew nut chicken was great. Shrimp pad Thai was the most flavorful pad Thai I had in a very long time, especially as someone who frequents Thai spots in manhattan and elhmurst… highly recommend the pad Thai. We finished with the mango sticky rice - ripe mangoes and slightly sweet rice, not overwhelming in any way. Service wait staff was attentive and kind, always nearby if we needed something.
